Hi there,
Welcome to my blog, where I share my journey through Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. For a long time, I’ve wanted to break into this industry and truly understand how hackers think and what they do. It’s a subject that has fascinated me for years.
But the ambiguity of tech, combined with an innate fear of failure, kept me from fully committing. Ever since I picked up my first computer book about thirteen years ago, I haven’t been able to shake the feeling that this is where I’m meant to be.
Still, I often lingered on the surface, browsing through what’s already known. And when opportunities came for me to go deeper, I always chickened out with the thought, “What if I fail?”
Now, in my early thirties, blessed with two daughters, I can’t imagine letting them down because of my own limiting beliefs. To them, with their little eyes, I look like someone who can move mountains. Before they realize that I’m just winging it, I want to do my best to live up to their expectations. I’m not just doing this for myself; I’m doing it for them, for my little girls who will one day need courage to face their fears and a world that doesn’t always favor them.
So, I invite you to walk with me through the highs and the lows, and maybe, just maybe, my journey might help you overcome what’s been standing in the way of pursuing your dream too.
Cheers,
Esther Wairimu.
